We led the complete design-to-manufacture process, helping our client bring a unique, patentable product to market that’s now positioned as a standout in the premium knife care category.
licEdge was created in response to a growing demand for kitchen accessories that combine function, style, and long-term durability. Unlike most consumer sharpeners with fixed angles and plastic housings, the SlicEdge offers a precision-engineered solution that allows users to adjust the sharpening angle between 0°–45°, catering to a wide range of knives—from fine Japanese blades to heavy-duty chef’s knives.
Our role covered the full scope: from market research and industrial design, to prototyping, DFM (Design for Manufacturing), and packaging strategy.
